Beginning with my runs & strength training, I ran 5 miles yesterday & another 3 miles today with some core training of planks...lots of planks: side planks, regular planks, plank rotations... I started doing core work 3 weeks ago & definitely feel stronger, but know that I have a ways to go.
As for my eats, pre-run fuel included flax cereal from TJ's & soy milk. I was really groggy & didn't take a picture. But following that was a post-run GREEN MONSTER... no pic bc you all know how those look.
Snacks: coffee/milk tea from bakery & two crackers with Roasted Red Pepper hummus.
Lunch: 1/2 of pita with humus & spinach AND a slice of ww toast with almond butter & banana slices. (I couldn't decide which I wanted, so I had a little of both!)
Dinner, Fran & I are heading to Grand Cafe in Astoria; I'm eyeing their Portobello Salad with Mesclun, mushrooms, goat cheese & roasted red peppers...mmmmmm...And I'll be sure to document & report back! So, stay tuned.
