10 Treadmill'ed Miles

Today I ran 10 miles on the good ole' treadmill.
How? you ask.

Well, first we need:
1. ICED COFFEE
2. TOAST W/ SUNFLOWER BUTTER & BANANA
3. Then, THESE at Mile 5:
These are shot bloks that I'm trying out during my long runs. They give you energy for days!
Because today was a 10 miler I only had one (shot) blok (i take 1 every 5 miles or so).

I obviously ran indoors bc there is sleek black ice out there! NOT CUTE!

Another thing that helped was breaking down the run to two 5 milers. Within each 5 miles, I used the run/walk method.
1. warm up ~10-15mins.
2. Run 7-10 mins; Walk 1 min.
Repeat til 5 Miles are completed.

BREAK FOR A SHOT BLOK.

3. Hop back on and OMIT warm up (obviously) & repeat Run/Walk.
4. When you get to 4.5 miles, cool down w/ Run 3 mins, Walk 1 min. Repeat until 5 miles are up

And boom. 10 miles conquered.
