Disney Marathon 2011 - Race Morning Prep

Oh boy... Disney could not have gone better. I plan and plan and plan because I am very Type A. But some things you just can't plan for...like:

1. great weather: sunny, 55-60F

2. great supporters/spectators (fambly & friends)

3. feel great legs: my legs seem to be able to go on for days! And by "days" i mean Miles 1-22!

Day of Disney '11:

2:30 am - Wake up, coffee, eat, dress, poo.

3:40 am - Hop on Disney's Magical Express marathon bus

4:10 am - Arrive at destination & walk to NO bag check (I had no bags to check)

4:40 am - Enter 20 minute walkway to corrals.

4:55 am - Hop on line to port-o-pottys (hey, i had a lot of coffee)

5:05 am - Enter Corral D, Wave 4

5:10-5:40 am - Stretch/stay warm/wait for Wave 4 fireworks

5:45 am: Fireworks go off for Wave 4 - Cross the start line at 5:47 am!
