They just do.

Running has been shaved down to a bare minimum for the past week and a half due to aforementioned problems with ileotibial band shananigans.

This weekend I ran 4 miles and 6 miles on Sat & Sun (today).

Today's run: ~6miles
Location: Alley Pond Park trails
Reflection: It was effin' horrendous the first 3 miles. My feet felt like a ton of bricks and I kept stopping and wanted to give up and go home. Then I started getting lost in the trail which actually provided me with a better run and i finally found a glimpse of "zone". however, it didn't last too long - just enough to make 6 miles and i was D.O.N.E.
Since I had planned a 7miler. I will do another mile on the DreadMill and call it a day.

I'm still excited about Disney after I reevaluated my pace goals. I had originally - confidently planned a 4:22-4:30 finish. However, due to said issues, I will just have fun and finish a sub-5. Although disappointing, there will be future marathons...in Hawaii =) that makes me feel better already!

-School/fieldwork/volunteer work has been kicking my butt! but im getting senioritis and its just whatever. Also I don't wana stress too much bc I am still a kid. Things always work out. That's what I've learned. they just do.
