For our Nutrition & food science research seminar class (quite the mouthful, eh?!) i decided to research Kombucha Tea and it's claimed immune boosting benefits. We had to research our topic & write a proposal for a possible experiment. I'm really proud of how it came out. Too bad it only had 12 minutes of glory [ppt presentation] for the hundreds hours i put in...wompwomp.
My other presentation was on Vitamine B12 & polyamine concentrations in rats and their interaction on neurological function. Sounds complicated, but I was able to put it in layman terms & the presentation went smoothly (at least I thought so - and im my own toughest critic).
2 ppt pres. down 2 to go!
For all 2 of you out there, my next presentation will be on preconception-male infertility! and the latter is a protocol for the determination of sesamin (a phytoestrogen in sesame seeds) and its comparative value to SDG in flaxseed. Exciting stuff, huh? lol When I first decided to become a Nutrition major, I had no idea I could be so sciency...it makes me feel smart (which is a nice feeling).
