I've began my internship last week & it's been quite the whirlwind! I've shadowed several dietitians so far:
Clinical:
6/1 - Dietitian - General
6/2 - Dietitian - Transplant Ward
6/3 - Dietitian - Pediatrics/ICU
6/4 & 6/5 - Sick as a dog.
- loved Transplant ward; we get to go on rounds with the doctors/residents/attendant/pharmacist/dietitian/nurse practicioner!!
Food Service
6/8 - measure temp. of food; (temp. regulation)
6/9 - measure temp of food @ the pod (before serve)/audit temp. log
6/10 - catering BBQ for 400 ppl
6/11 - (tomrw) we will be doing Recipe Analysis
- Let's just say Food Service is definitely NOT for me. I kinda, sorta hate Food service. Hate is a strong word; I have strong feelings.
Oh, and here's a pic of what I wore to my first day of work! I liked my outfit.
p.s. I am exhausted...ALL THE TIME. This job is no walk in the park, I tell ya.
p.p.s. I'll be back running with Niketown this Saturday! Exciting!!

Looks like you're gaining some valueble experience in your internship though! At least you're having fun too right? :)
Imagine how much cooler this picture would had been if u had used a tripod instead! The possibilities are endless when u have a tripod =P
