so... I GOT THE INTERNSHIP!!! HOLYY MOLYY!
in case you didn't know, I had applied to this internship at NYU Medical Center to shadow a Registered Dietitian. I was really nervous bc I wanted this internship sooooo badly. I checked my mailbox consistently for the past 2 weeks. And finally, it came and the first words I read were..."We are pleased to inform you..." and then I started jumping for joy like a maniac outside my hallway.
I called my parents to let them in on the great news & my mom actually said something interesting, "You know how happy you are about this? Money can't buy this feeling. You have to work for it." Oh, the life lessons of mothers... This is a great start to my career! eek!!! sooo excited.
P.s. Now I can totalllyyyy wear that pencil skirt outfit I have had for so long. Thanks for the nudge to purchase that skirt Lisa ;)

***What makes this even more gratifying, I just found out people apply from all over the world which is why they offer housing. A girl applied from...Lebanon! oy vey!
